I'm tempted by these since they're easier to drive, and I don't have the strongest amp in the 2i4 - but the 6XX is warmer, so I'm tempted for that with my bass. However, that changes when I use an expensive amplifier and DAC, where the HD6xx moves out ahead in quality. It'll be interesting to see if the same holds true for the 58x. Although if the 660s are any indication, 150ohm might not be a whole lot easier to drive. But, these are still half that imagined price so that's why I ultimately rolled the dice.
